On Wednesday, December 4th, 67 first-year students from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Yatsushiro Technical High School visited our head office factory for a company tour.

Yatsushiro Technical High School chose our company as an opportunity to broaden their perspective on society and learning for the next generation as part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s “Meister High School Promotion Project.”

The students were divided into morning and afternoon classes, and were given an overview of the company and were given a tour of the steel structure manufacturing process and welding work in the factory. We hope that this tour will help them develop an interest in floodgates and dams.
